The picturesque course winds through hardwood forests and tidal marshes, framed by native laurel and other indigenous species - and there is not a condo or residence in sight...just delicious solitude. The Colonial hosts one of the most visually breathtaking par 3's in the Williamsburg area, nicknamed The Abyss. It is a forced carry over a native marshland, and a challenge for anyone who plays this hole. For those that don't conquer the hole, there is a "cussin' box" near the green to provide relief. The Colonial offers the ammenities of a private club, including, lessons, camps, video analysis, leagues, club repair, club making, complete practice range facility, 3 hole practice course, course beverage service and a full service restaurant and bar.
